Cookeville – “I Spy A Western Mural” Presented Cookeville Leisure Services Department July 13th starting at 10:30am-2:30pm at the History Museum. Saturday’s History Hike will be an opportunity to spy some outdoor art. “I Spy a WestSide Mural,” a free, self-guided activity is for all ages. “It’s going to be super fun,” Ashley McKee, museums education specialist, said. “We came up with it to coincide with our current Cookeville History Museum exhibit, ‘I Spy Cookeville.’” The Historic WestSide Cultural District is home to eight murals, all within walking distance of both museums. Participants are also encouraged to explore the Cookeville History Museum’s “I Spy Cookeville” exhibit, which continues through Aug. 24, featuring picture riddles and other interactive activities for all ages. Admission is free. History Hikes continue on the second Saturday of each month through October.
